I would be happy if every season included one anime from the Takagi-verse. Even though I still haven't seen whole Takagi-san, I must say that all the stories from that author are nice. They are wholesome, cute, and relaxing.
Since I've recently finished HxH, I'm thinking about Meruem and Komugi while watching this (Idk why. I mean the only similarity is that they are playing a game, and they do like each other, but it's different). Imagine that this is what would've happened to them if they got reincarnated, and played shogi instead of gungi.

In the manga for Kunoichi Tsubaki, Takagi DOES appear in one chapter, albeit it's a one shot.
And I recall that in Moto Takagi-san, Chii was into ninjas, which the show she was watching happened to be Kunoichi Tsubaki.
Haven't read the manga for this yet.
